Challenger bank Point recently announced it had raised $46.5M in a Series B funding round. The company currently offers accounts associated with a debit card and positions itself as a premium debit card company. The round included participation from Peter Thiel’s Valar Ventures, Breyer Capital, YC Continuity, and Human Capital. Previously, in a Series A round, the company raised $10.5M, rounding out its $60M of total funding.
