  • Fintech, Insights

Conversion Capital, a fund that invests in fintech software, data, and cloud infrastructure, has secured $122 million for its third fund, which is more than six times the size of its previous fund and will be used to support early-stage infrastructure and fintech firms. It has invested in over 60 startups, and its portfolio includes companies like corporate spend giant Ramp, Vesta, Figure, Braid Finance, Blend, Wisetack, and Booster Fuels, among others. Conversion Capital Out of its most recent fund, Conversion intends to support 25 to 30 fintech startups while setting aside at least 30% for subsequent investments. It will concentrate on startups that are developing data technologies, cloud infrastructure, and software. The company has so far started investing money from the new fund into related industries that it considers are “undergoing structural transformation” as well as the fintech landscape.
