Anchorage Digital, home to the first federally chartered crypto bank in the US, has acquired Routable, an enterprise payouts platform that helps businesses onboard payees, automate tax and compliance workflows, and orchestrate high-volume payouts across 220-plus countries through a developer-first API; terms were not disclosed. Founded in 2017 and growing over 100% for two consecutive years, Routable serves enterprise clients such as Veho, Ethos, and Polestar, and will operate as Routable by Anchorage Digital. The main objective is to combine Anchorage’s regulated stablecoin issuance, custody, and settlement infrastructure with Routable’s fiat payout rails, embedding native stablecoin and tokenized deposits settlement into what it calls the first asset-agnostic payment orchestration platform, so corporate treasurers can issue and distribute from one platform. Key players include Anchorage Digital CEO and co-founder Nathan McCauley, who said few regulated partners could previously serve Big Tech and Fortune 500 companies across both fiat and digital assets, and Routable CEO and co-founder Omri Mor, who said clients keep their existing rails plus a regulated bridge into digital assets.
