Chift, a Brussels-based financial data connectivity platform, has raised €10.5 million in Series A funding led by BlackFin Capital Partners, with existing investors Entourage, Shapers, Seeder Fund, and Wallonie Entreprendre also participating. Chift’s unified API connects software companies to more than 120 European financial systems—including accounting, invoicing, point-of-sale, and payments platforms—reaching over 50,000 SMEs across more than ten countries through 150-plus software clients including Revolut, Qonto, Pennylane, and Mollie. The main objective is to expand into major European markets and deepen AI-ready connectivity so that AI agents in finance can reliably access the data they need, building on more than tenfold revenue growth since Chift’s 2024 seed round. Key players include Chift co-founder and CEO Gauthier Henroz, who said “AI and e-invoicing are rebuilding the entire financial software market,” and BlackFin investment director Pauline Brunel, who noted that “agents are only as good as the data they can access.”
