Clearco, the Toronto-based leading provider of non-dilutive funding for E-COMMERCE brands, has secured a new $100 million asset-backed financing facility from Macquarie Group‘s Fixed Income and Currencies team within its Commodities and Global Markets business, expanding Clearco’s capacity to provide qualifying brands with up to $10 million per deal with estimated terms of four to twelve months, expected to support approximately $900 million in funding to ecommerce brands over the next two years. The facility is structured to serve brands growing across DTC, wholesale, retail, marketplaces, and social commerce simultaneously, addressing the reality that ecommerce growth now requires larger inventory commitments and multi-channel financing structures that Clearco’s non-dilutive, no-personal-guarantee model is designed to provide. The deal marks Clearco’s return to institutional growth capital after restructuring, as ecommerce brand capital requirements have grown materially more complex than the single-channel DTC model that first defined the market.
