Edward Jones, the $2.4 trillion-asset WEALTHTECH firm with more than 20,000 financial advisors serving 9 million U.S. clients, has made a minority investment in Carefull through Edward Jones Ventures and will offer the AI-powered financial safety platform at no cost to all U.S. clients. Carefully monitors accounts for suspicious transactions, scam behavior patterns, and financial mistakes which includes those associated with cognitive decline, while allowing clients to share selected alerts with trusted family members through its GreyMatter AI insights engine launched in October 2025. The deal reflects the industry’s growing recognition that financial safety is no longer optional, as Americans over 60 reported more than $7.7 billion in cyber-enabled fraud losses in 2025.
