SEON, a fraud prevention fintech headed by co-founder and CEO Tamas Kadar, has raised $80 million in a Series C led by Sixth Street Growth, with support from existing investors Creandum, Firebolt, IVP, and new backer Hearst. Founded in 2017 and headquartered in Austin, SEON provides an API-based fraud prevention and AML compliance platform powered by 900+ proprietary data signals, used by clients such as Plaid, Revolut, Nubank, and Afterpay. The funds will drive AI and predictive model development, deepen integrations with financial institutions and cloud providers, and support expansion in Latin America and the APAC region, addressing rising global fraud challenges.
