The collaboration combines State Street’s institutional infrastructure, $49T in assets in custody, and $5.1T AUM, with Apex’s API-driven digital custody, clearing, and brokerage infrastructure, which already supports 22M accounts and $200B in assets. Together, they aim to create the first fully digital, scalable custody solution for wealth advisors and platforms worldwide, addressing the rising demand from both high-net-worth and affluent markets.
