ClearBank, the real-time clearing and embedded banking provider, has expanded into Europe by obtaining a Dutch banking license. The new license allows ClearBank to provide euro accounts and payments, including operating accounts, virtual accounts, and access to major European payment rails, such as SEPA Credit Transfer, SEPA Instant Credit Transfer and TARGET2 (T2). The new entity, ClearBank Europe NV, will also provide multi-currency and FX services, and introduce embedded banking services to European clients. The move marks the initial step in ClearBank’s global expansion strategy.
