Chime, the digital banking startup, has acquired Salt Labs, an enterprise technology company that helps hourly workers accumulate long-term work value through employee rewards. The acquisition, which brings Salt Labs’ team and offerings into Chime, will allow Chime to expand its enterprise client relationships and enhance its primary account growth and revenue streams. Chime plans to establish a new business unit, Chime Enterprise, led by Salt Labs’ founder Jason Lee, to leverage these relationships and further develop the Chime MyPay™ earned wage access platform.
