Stored value and branded card payments provider Blackhawk Network has confirmed it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire digital B2B gift card rewards innovator Tango Card for an undisclosed amount. The acquisition aims to enhance Blackhawk Network’s global rewards platform by integrating Tango Card’s innovative B2B incentives platform and customer support. The transaction, subject to regulatory approvals relating to money transmitter licenses, is expected to close later this year.
