Cross-border B2B payments firm Thunes has secured $72 million in Series C funding, bringing the firm’s post-money valuation to roughly $900 million. Thunes currently has 3 billion mobile wallet accounts and 4 billion bank accounts connected through its network of partners, which include M-Pesa, WeChat across Asia, Uber, PayPal, MoneyGram, and Remitly.
