Diagram Ventures announced it has closed a new $100 million CAD fund earmarked for investment in fintech startups. The venture firm with ties to the Desmarais family is unconcerned by the current decline in fintech investment and still sees a lot of issues in the financial sector that still need to be resolved. Though Diagram’s initial target size for the fund was $100 million CAD, the oversubscribed fund will likely stretch to $120 million.
