Duck Creek Technologies acquisition by Vista Equity Partners caused its shares to skyrocket Monday morning. The acquisition agreement stipulates that Vista will pay $19 per share in cash for the SaaS-based insurtech, roughly $2.6 billion in total. The offer represents a 46% premium to Duck Creek’s January 7th’s closing price of $12.99.
