HIFI, a New York-based financial technology company building infrastructure for stablecoin payments and tokenized assets, has raised $37 million in its first-ever priced funding round, a Series A led by Left Lane Capital. HIFI’s API infrastructure combines money movement, compliance, and settlement across bank rails and digital assets, processing more than $7 billion in annualized volume across 87 countries; the main objective is to scale its tokenized capital-markets infrastructure and broaden its stablecoin payments and card product suite for banks, fintechs, and capital-markets participants. The company recently participated in DTCC’s July production trades involving tokenized securities alongside BlackRock, Goldman Sachs, and Nasdaq, and partnered with Visa this month to extend stablecoin-funded payouts to more than 4 billion Visa cards worldwide. Key players include HIFI co-founder and CEO Zach Walsh, who started the company in 2022 with Mo Afifi to build infrastructure for a financial system where “tokenized money runs continuously,” and lead investor Left Lane Capital.
