Repodo, a newly launched Copenhagen-based audit firm founded by the team behind Nordic digital bank Lunar, has raised €8.2 million in pre-seed funding, described by CEO Ken Villum Klausen as one of the largest pre-seed rounds in Nordic history. The round was led by London venture capital firm Hedosophia and Seed Capital, both early Lunar backers, with participation from angel investors including Epidemic Sound co-founder Oscar Höglund and Fleet founder Alex Berriche. Repodo provides an AI-native operating system for financial auditing that uses agentic AI to automate data collection, reconciliation, documentation, and transaction analysis, while leaving final sign-off to human judgement; the objective is to redesign the roughly €80 billion global audit market, which has remained heavily manual, by giving qualified auditors more time to focus on judgement and risk rather than repetitive processing. The company was co-founded by former Lunar CEO Ken Villum Klausen, former CFO Peter Andreasen, and former CPO Joachim Strøjer Hansen, joined by co-founding auditor Anders Houmann, formerly of EY and Deloitte; Repodo is launching first in Denmark targeting small and medium-sized businesses, with plans to expand market by market across Europe.
