ZBD, the money layer for games that has raised $90 million from investors including RAINE, Square Enix, and Lakestar, has launched a complete EMBEDDED FINANCE platform for the video games E-COMMERCE ecosystem covering the full money lifecycle (money in, money through, and money out) through four integrated products: Embedded Accounts for direct pay-in deposits and P2P marketplaces inside PC and console games, Embedded Payouts for instant compliant cash-out to bank accounts, Cash App, gift cards, and push-to-card, Embedded Rewards for real-money rewards integrated into core gameplay, and Branded Debit Cards for white-label loyalty programs extending player engagement into real-world spending. Early platform partners include 1047 Games (developer of Splitgate and Empulse) using Embedded Payouts for real-money referrals, Joygame deploying Embedded Rewards, and Turborilla, with ZBD licensed as a payment service provider across a majority of U.S. states and the EEA. The launch targets a structural gap where existing payment stacks are retrofitted from other industries and only facilitate one-way transactions, limiting studios to a cost-center payment relationship rather than a two-way financial loop with players.
