Finster AI, an AI-native intelligence and agent orchestration platform built for investment banks, asset managers, and institutional investors, has secured a strategic investment from UBS Investment Bank as part of Finster’s Series B round, alongside FactSet. The main objective is to build out AI-native infrastructure for wealthtech-adjacent research, advisory, and capital markets workflows, giving financial institutions AI tools that integrate structured data, unstructured content, and institutional knowledge to generate faster, traceable insights for research, analysis, and client engagement. The platform can produce client-ready briefing decks, model companies ahead of transactions, and monitor sectors for market-moving events, and it’s developed in partnership with FactSet’s AI for Banking platform, integrating with tools like Excel and PowerPoint. Key players include Finster AI CEO Sid Jayakumar, who called the investment a reflection of AI-native infrastructure’s growing role in banking, and UBS Investment Bank’s Greg Peirce, Co-Head of Global Banking APAC and AI Business Sponsor, who framed the deal as support for the “continued evolution of investment banking workflows.”
