Strivve, the Seattle-based E-COMMERCE fintech whose Top of Wallet and CardLinks technology automates the placement of payment cards across online merchants and bill-payment platforms for financial institutions, has secured Chartway Ventures as lead investor in what the company expects to be its final capital raise, adding to an existing strategic investor base including Velera (formerly PSCU/Co-op Solutions) and Reseda Group. The company currently serves more than 200 card issuers with signed agreements covering payment card accounts approaching 100 million, reporting card placement success rates as high as 96%, as stored payment credentials have grown to represent approximately 84% of e-commerce checkout transactions, up from 56% in 2019 according to Visa data cited by the company. Strivve has deliberately built its capital strategy around strategic industry investors, financial services executives, and family offices rather than traditional venture capital.
