RealPage, the Thoma Bravo-backed PROPTECH working as a software and data analytics for real estate serving 42,000+ customers managing 24 million housing units worldwide, has completed its acquisition of Cherre, a New York-based real estate data intelligence company trusted by institutional owners, investment managers, and operators whose platform resolves more than 4 billion entities and $4 trillion in real assets globally into a governed, trusted data foundation. Cherre co-founder and CEO L.D. Salmanson will become Senior Vice President at RealPage, while Kirkland & Ellis served as legal counsel to RealPage and Software Equity Group advised Cherre. The deal addresses one of the primary blockers of AI in real estate, fragmented and inconsistent data. by connecting property-level operational data with portfolio- and fund-level investment intelligence in a single governed platform, extending RealPage’s agentic AI trajectory following its 2025 acquisition of Rexera.
