Lumin Digital, the cloud-native BANKTECH for banks and credit unions founded in 2016 by CEO Jeff Chambers, has raised more than $115 million in new capital, comprising a $45 million growth equity investment led by long-term backer Light Street Capital and more than $70 million from 15 of its own financial institution clients investing through a special purpose vehicle, including Affinity Plus Federal Credit Union, at a $1.6 billion valuation, with FT Partners serving as exclusive strategic and financial advisor. The company now serves approximately 90 financial institutions, recently onboarding Granite State Credit Union, Commonwealth Credit Union, and Ent Credit Union, and in early 2026 launched Lumin Solaire, an embedded AI-native intelligence layer that automates workflows and generates personalized insights to help community banks retain deposits. The capital will accelerate advancements in AI, payments, CRM, and lending on its unified cloud banking platform, and its client-investor model, dating to founding, means the institutions best positioned to serve their members have a direct stake in the tools they use.
