S&P Global announced it will acquire With Intelligence from Motive Partners for $1.8 billion, positioning itself as a leader in private markets intelligence. The acquisition expands S&P Global’s reach across private equity, private credit, hedge funds, real estate, and infrastructure, adding proprietary data on ~30,000 investors, 30,000 managers, 70,000 funds, and 350,000 deals. By integrating With Intelligence’s analytics, benchmarks, and LP/GP relationship data with S&P’s Capital IQ, iLEVEL, and valuation tools, the deal creates an end-to-end platform for alternative asset transparency and performance benchmarking, expected to add $130 million in revenue by 2025 and drive high-teen annual growth.
