The acquisition—pending regulatory approval—combines SmartSearch’s end-to-end KYC and AML automation platform, which serves over 7,500 clients, with Credas’ advanced digital identity tools, used by over 1,000 firms. Backed by Triple Private Equity, SmartSearch aims to accelerate growth, expand its product portfolio, and deliver more innovative, secure, and efficient onboarding and fraud prevention solutions amid tightening regulatory pressures.
