Xplor Technologies, a global platform providing software and embedded payments solutions to businesses in “everyday life” verticals such as childcare & education, fitness & wellbeing, field services, and personal services, and Clubessential Holdings, a global SaaS and embedded payments provider for membership-based organizations, have agreed to merge. The two will work to form a global SaaS and embedded payments platform spanning fitness, wellness, golf, parks, recreation, and home services. The combined entity will serve 130,000+ customers, process $47 billion in annual payments, employ 2,500 people, and generate nearly $900 million in annual revenue, while continuing to be majority-backed by Advent International with minority support from Battery Ventures and Silver Lake. Post-merger, Clubessential CEO Randy Eckels will lead the organization, with Xplor CEO Pamela Joseph moving to a board role, as both firms aim to accelerate innovation and scale their solutions globally.
