Rain, a stablecoin-backed card company partnered with Visa, has raised $58 million in Series B funding led by Sapphire Ventures, bringing its total funding to $ 88.5 million. The funds will expand Rain’s modular, compliant stablecoin infrastructure, enabling stablecoins to be used instantly anywhere Visa is accepted across more than 150 countries, with transaction volumes reportedly growing tenfold this year. Key investors include Dragonfly, Galaxy Ventures, Samsung Next, and Lightspeed. Meanwhile, Visa continues to advance its broader stablecoin strategy through partnerships, such as Stripe’s Bridge unit and support for USDC.
