Crezco, an open banking A2A payments startup, has successfully raised $12 million in a Series A led by MMC Ventures and 13books capital. The funding comes just two years after the company’s £3 million seed round. Crezco specializes in B2B account-to-account payments, allowing companies to bypass traditional payment providers’ fees. The company has also strengthened its partnership with Xero, helping it to become the first small business cloud accounting software in the U.K. to offer bill payments through open banking.
