Idex Biometrics, a leading provider of fingerprint identification technologies, received an initial order for its Idex Pay platform and biometric metal payment cards from an Asia-based intelligent card manufacturer. The cards, designed for the manufacturer’s global bank clients, are expected to reach customers in the first quarter of next year. The order follows a recent agreement with South Korean card maker Kona, marking the company’s second biometric supply deal in just a month.
