Refine Intelligence, an anti-money laundering (AML) fintech, has secured $13 million in seed funding in a round led by Glilot Capital Partners and Fin Capital. The funding will support the company’s international expansion efforts. Refine uses proprietary artificial intelligence to identify legitimate customer activity that FIs might otherwise flag, send alerts, and allow quick resolution without wasting valuable bank resources. The company aims to streamline the AML process and provide real-time context to customer actions.
