Citi announced this week the acquisition of its Bridge built by Citi platform by Foro Holdings, a commercial lending services provider. The move will have Citi joining Foro’s existing investors in providing additional capital to support the platform’s growth. Bridge is a digital platform connecting small and medium-sized businesses with lenders, providing them with access to capital. Citi will remain a minority investor in Foro, and Bridge co-founders Rohit Mathur and Harte Thompson will take on leadership roles within Foro.
