Pismo, a cloud-native issuer processing and core banking platform with operations in Latin America, Asia Pacific, and Europe, is being acquired by Visa for $1 billion in cash. With the Pismo acquisition, Visa will be better positioned to offer cloud native APIs to clients for core banking and issuer processing capabilities for debit, prepaid, credit, and commercial cards.
