Australian payments tech Till Payments announced it has secured $70 million in a Series D raise. The funding comes just two months after the company laid off roughly 40% of its workforce. Tilled took in $80 million in October 2021 which then valued the firm at $350 million. The new capital evidences investor support for Till’s new strategy of running more efficiently and accelerating its pace toward profitability.
