Boston-based fintech fund Mendoza Ventures, a venture capital firm focused on diversity-lead startups led by people of color, immigrants and women, has completed its first close of its third fund. The $100 million fund will put a priority on diverse teams while investing in early-stage companies in financial technology, AI, and cybersecurity. Bank of America acted as lead investor alongside with Grasshopper Bank.
