The venture capital firm OTB Ventures has launched a €150 million deeptech fund with capital partially earmarked for fintech investments in Europe. It is the first fund to receive support from the InvestEU program, an initiative of the European Commission and European Investment Bank (EIB) to support crucial investments within Europe which align with European policy priorities like digital transformation and the so-called European Green Deal. Investments in fintech, cybersecurity, climate technology, AI enterprise automation, and space will be included in the fund’s portfolio.
