Ripple, the provider of enterprise blockchain and cryptocurrency solutions, announced the launch of RippleNet’s On-Demand Liquidity (ODL) in Brazil with Travelex – the first bank to be registered and “licensed by the Central Bank of Brazil to operate entirely in foreign exchange”. The ODL solution from Ripple allows users to move money across borders quickly with very low-cost settlement and without the requirement to hold pre-funded capital in the destination market by employing XRP, its native digital currency for payments.
