Shopify, the online e-commerce giant, invested $100 million in Klaviyo, an e-commerce marketing automation platform. Klaviyo and Shopify will expand their current cooperation by making Klaviyo the recommended email provider for Shopify’s premium merchant plan, Shopify Plus. Additionally, Klaviyo will be granted early access to Shopify innovations that are currently in development. Klaviyo is the most recent investment and purchase made by Shopify with the goal of expanding the e-commerce platform’s market share and technology suite.
