Marqeta, a state-of-the-art card issuing company, and Plaid, a leading open banking aggregator helping businesses build fintech solutions, are working together to make it easier for consumers to authenticate bank accounts and move funds between them. The alliance underlines the rapid expansion of fintech solutions used for B2B and B2C banking and payments. Mutually beneficial to both firms, Marqeta will now have access to “a more powerful set of APIs for card issuing”, and Plaid will be able to “embed” its technology into the offerings of other fintech infrastructure providers.
