Jewel Bank, Bermuda’s first digital asset bank, has launched with services spanning core banking, lending, custody, fiat ramping, and stablecoin offerings. The Bermuda Monetary Authority recently granted Jewel Bank a complete bank license as well as a DABA (digital assets) license. In 2022, Bitbull Capital invested an undisclosed amount in Jewel Bank’s Series A funding round. With these funds, Jewel Bank intends to expand and develop its digital asset custody, stablecoins, collateralized lending, and settlement exchange businesses.
