Klarna, a buy-now-pay-later solution headquartered in Sweden, recently announced the company would launch Klarna Kosma. The new product suite will offer an API that other companies can integrate in their apps and services to access accounts statements, initiate payments, retrieve banking information, and update data. The announcement comes as open banking innovation accelerates in the UK, catalyzed by more accommodating regulations and Visa’s previous acquisition of Tink.
