Telstra Health recently announced they had entered into a binding agreement to acquire SaaS vendor MedicalDirector. MedicalDirector’s offerings include electronic health records, patient and practice management, billing, scheduling, care coordination, medicine information, and clinical content. Twenty-three thousand medical practitioners use the software per year, and Telstra believes the acquisition helps push their strategy for improving connected digital health solutions forward.
