During PayPal’s (NASDAQ: PYPL) Q2 earnings call, CEO Dan Schulman shared the code of their new digital wallet app is now complete. After years of “super app” ambitions, PayPal will begin its rollout of new offerings. The app will feature new payment services, financial services, commerce, and shopping tools. During the call, Schulman announced a new messaging feature and hinted at potential crypto capabilities. The announcement comes as PayPal missed revenue estimates, but beat on earnings per share.
